I am an athlete and vegan activist. I stopped eating animals when I was 14 years old, in the summer of 1985. A few years later, I dedicated myself to the sport of weightlifting.
In 2011, given that there were no vegan protein shakes available in Europe at the time, I decided to set up the company Veggie Style – now VROTEINA – to produce 100% vegan supplements in Alicante.
We are convinced that a plant-based, cruelty-free diet combined with sport ensures a healthy and high-quality life.
Vroteina is the result of my lifestyle. I, Carlos Barbón, have been vegan since I was a teenager and I love sports and healthy eating.
